Didn't know the source, just saw the post here. I highly doubt Edmonton would offer that much and if they did, Florida would be crazy to say no. - five4fighting10
It would have been accepted by now. IMO the 1st overall is highly overrated this year unless you have a specific need for D. That's one of the reasons I see the Flyers making a move for it. |

Now that is a fair point, but don't you wanna see a lineup with Noel, Embiid, and Okafor? I was hoping they'd find a way to land Wiggins too. I have no idea what the future holds for that team. - five4fighting10
I would have rather seen them take exum trade mcw to LA for Randle then trade Thad for another pick but whatever I'm done with basketball talk it's draft day!!!! |

Could be a Doughty, could be a Bogosian. - Feanor
I think Erik Johnson at the same age is a good comparison. |

Agreed and I fear the Flyers moving up. Not because I don't want Ekblad or any other more highly rated prospect than they could land at 17 but because of what it would take to move up. |

I wanted Exum too but c'est la vie. Final thing about the NBA draft, how priceless was Embiid's reaction after the pick since he was on a satellite delay |

Absolutely. And the GM and coach have no pressure to win for at least 2 more years. And absolutely agree, the NBA is flawed and that's why their on-court product is awful. I can't stand a sport where you know who the final 4 will be at the beginning of each season regardless of what happens throughout the entire regular season and early playoffs. - five4fighting10
NBA is the worst season to watch. I mean look at the Heat. The EAST is awful so they blow through the playofss and then once they get to a good team like the Spurs look what happens. This year i said any team from the WEST that made it would have one. The WEST is just better. |

You never know with players, if they like them I say get him. Flyers are usually pretty good at drafting players. We have found Gems in Gagne, Richards & Giroux all in late 1st rd. |

Truth. The on-court product is horrendous. NCAA basketball >>> NBA in my eyes. And Lebron would be crazy to leave the East if his goal is to win titles since he's a lock to be in the Finals every year. Now on to the NHL draft! |

And that's exactly why I'm okay with staying at 17. Then again, I'm open for whatever moves Hextall has in store. Only 9.5 hours away, man this is gonna be a long day |

I have a feeling the offers are nowhere near what Tallon is suggesting. He's really just trying to drive up the price. My poker reads from his interview yesterday told me that. |

Lots of reports saying Sens having hard time getting what they want for Spezza. I hope maybe someone moves onto Vinny since Spezza deal seams tough |

Carchidi going on about how Ekblad is a franchise defenseman.
Is he? - MBFlyerfan
He projects more as an Erik Johnson than a Drew Doughty. But who knows, dude's yet to play a professional game. |

Probably not too good. Most of us on here couldn't get them at all during the pre-sale or the normal sale. Good luck though. If anyone from here does go, please kick someone in the balls for me for not being able to get a damn ticket. |

That's what I see happening. Both Spezza and Kesler will cost a ton. |
