Does anyone think we can get the first overall and not sacrifice the future, because I don't. There is no way I am giving up three of are core players. - AGL_91

I don't think it can be done from 17 without gutting the roster |

All I can say is that if Hextall does pull of a trade for the #1 and Couturier goes and Vinny LePylonier stays, I'm going to be one unhappy camper. You may in fact have to keep me away from sharp objects, firearms, and anything remotely flammable.... pitchforks and torches are defintely out. |

Strangely I am always at my calmest on these days. Draft and Trade Deadline.
Stay the course, take your designated pick and go home. - flyer_nutter

Depends whats going the other way. Some players (Schenns) are easier to replace than say a player of Simmonds/Couturier caliber.
I love Read, but he himself is easy to replace in FA compared to a guy like Voracek. |

I have been beating the meat over an organic rebuild for a while.
No fire-sale, but Hextall has a chance to make that happen today. Although I've heard the Flyers aren't in any way rebuilding. |

People laugh at Dale Tallon, but the guy can still see and read...if Vinny's going there, it ain't gonna be clean on our end. Something will be attached that we won't like |

I feel like its been a really long time since a Philly franchise got the 1st overall pick. Possibly the Phillies with Pat Burrell |

I'd honestly kind of hate losing Read over Simmonds. |
