Last year we all had several different prospects we thought Philly would take with the pick, and Button was correct with his Morin pick. I see Barbashev, Kapanen, etc being mentioned that we want at #17. I can see it Button being correct again, and we get DeAngelo.

So the Preds just drafted a guy from a league that sounds like a virus.

Hornqvist 51.1% CF, +3.4% CF rel, 52% ZS, 29.6% QOC
Spaling 45.3% CF, -3.2% CF rel, 50% ZS, 28.7% QOC

Hornqvist has surprisingly good numbers going back 3+ seasons.

So not bad. Spaling will fit in nicely on the Lack of Possession Line with Sutter.

(frank) swapping first.

should have handcuffed scuderi to neal and said alright deal with it.

but yeah, i think they just wanted neal gone. it really is a shame he had to be such a wiener. regardless of what people say, he wasnt always like that. i dont know why he fancied himself some sort of tough guy. easy to be tough when its cheap.

- stayinthefnnet

I wouldn't call him a 'tough guy'. He never dropped the gloves and had plenty of opportunities.

I think they did want to get rid of him though. Just took the best offer they got.

The Neal trade was just weird because of when it was announced, with no pick involved. Just totally random

Hornqvist is a Tomas Holmstrom type... should help you guys in front of the net on the PP, more of an in-close scorer than Neal.
