I personally liked Fabri, but adding defensive depth is always a win/win. The more assets the better.

simmer is the best contract in this team... nearly 30 goals/yr for under $4 million for something like 5-6 more years. we couldn't replace that at under $4 million.

I love Simmonds on this team ... and I'm hopeful that Hexy does too.

Outside of Mason and maybe Jake, I don't remember any other Flyer having as many good games this past year as Simmer did.

I doubt Hextall has interest in anything other than Ekblad though, unless they're taking Vinny off our hands
