He's a very fluid skater. Watching highlights on Dmen kind of suck though right. Hard to get a feel for the player. Certainly love the tools

He actually said "doesn't lead" but I'm pretty sure he meant "does lead" or "I will be surprised if he doesn't lead", unless he was actually sneaking in a passive aggressive insult at Sanheim after a nice play.

Either way, sexy stuff. Love the pick. Taking the big ranking risers like Sanheim is a great way to get really good value for your late first round picks. He was exactly the player I was hoping we'd pick.

Shades of Doughty/Subban in some of those moves. I approve.

Literally running into Sean Couturier on the way out, and yelling out really loud "HEY, SEAN COUTURIER!" In which he had to stop and take pictures with three people. Sorry, Sean.

Standing next to an old man from Toronto who used to work in the OHL. Awesome.
