2k +. on draft day. pretty impressive. and it was awful quiet after the flyers pick. could've been 2500 at least.

Has "The Sanheim Steamroller" been used yet?

I'm cool with Sanheim, like that stable of D prospects!

Now grab the best forward available at 48 and maybe the best goalie available with the Bruins 3rd rounder and I'd call it a solid draft.

Totally agree; straight BPA from here on out -- and always, really -- but it'd be nice to get another goalie in the system, wouldn't it?

I swear, being a GM must be the most fun yet stressful job imaginable. Yes, you get to make moves. But rarely is the case where you don't have a need for SOMETHING

It's getting crowded in there and quickly. Amazing what can happen when you don't throw all your picks away

I think if Demko is there when they pick in Rd 2, they will take him.

No doubt, but I'm thinking he goes early 2nd, as does Barbashev.

I'm still thinking that VL is traded on July 2nd to either Dallas, Nashville, Florida or Toronto for a 2015 draft pick. Maybe they package him with one of their 4th rounders to snag a 3rd?

Rumor is out there that he's going to go to FLA for Upshall

EDIT per Randy Miller, who is writing for NJ.com now

I really like this sanheim pick after watching that highlight reel. Sanheim-Morin might make a formidable pairing in a few years.
