Kesler: Canucks treated me extremely well. "I want to be a big part of winning the Stanley Cup. I'm not getting any younger."

Probably accurate, but I'm more excited about the direction of this franchise than I have been at any time in recent memory. Especially with that cockvein as our 2LC. So nice to move on from that BS.

Yeah, I don't blame him for wanting to go to a nice warm city and a contending team.

Love every one of them so far. It's what happens in three years not this year

I love every deal today. especially the Kesler deal. Kesler 3 years ago we got boned on that deal but kesler now we win hands down. Bonino is already better than kesler

He'll be fine going to a better team and with less media around as long as he can resist the wives. Plenty of other ass in California.

So if the cap is going to be at 68M it looks like the Canucks will have aprox 17 mill in space (according to cap geek) They still have to sign Tanev and Kassian, but still.....

How is this deal better than the one that Pitt offered at the deadline?

In review:

B. Sutter (as opposed to Bonnio)
Despres or Doumalin (Sbisa - who has been now through three teams)
Pen's 1st Round Pick #22 (Duck's is #24)

It just goes to show again VAN mismanaged another asset in a trade.

Terrible...

Maybe they are taking a run at Kane. Giving up former Manitoba Moose: Tanev, Lack +
