I think it is brilliant to be stocking up on Picks. We all agree that we are 3 to 5 years away from being an actual contender.... sure we may make the playoffs during that time but all we would be in cannon-fodder.

The Tyler Myers-to -Canucks talk is all over the draft floor. Doesn’t mean it’s going to happen, but there is a lot of buzz.

The Canucks have tabled an offer to the Buffalo Sabres for Myers, and it includes the No. 24 overall pick.

They have been using that same pick in a package to try and get the first overall pick out of Florida, but many here don’t believe the Panthers are serious about dealing it.
