Thats great. Z2 plays in the same division in the CHL. I bet they've run into each other a time or two.

This gunnerson deal is honestly one of the worst trades of the last few years. Maybe the decade thus far.

Yeah. Rare to find forwards who make it after the 3rd round, but it's worth the shot. Hexy said he wanted more forwards. I'm surprised he hasn't taken a goalie yet. They could use a lot more organizational depth in that area.

I like the philosophy of drafting guys in these late rounds that have high end skills.

That was detroit's though process for many years now.
