If a GM is willing to hurt his team to any length to undo a mistake of his predecessor them I question his ability to be a professional GM. You may not like the team you are given but it is your job to play the hand you've got and manage all assets to the best of your ability. I'm saying, only trade Vinny in a deal that is best for the team, not just to get rid of him at any cost.

If they can move him, I hope they do so and don't look back -- the term and risk of getting stuck means you have to, to me.

In the past when he was traded there he said something like he would tie Lemieuxs skates for him or something to that effect.

Flyer up to the point he couldnt handle being the top player and was traded to the pens. I dont count his second stint

After a 3-4 year ban, I have returned.

Boring draft last night to say the least. They normally are though, so really we get too fired up for something big by buying into rumors and are left disappointed when they never happen.

When I left, me and MJL were arguing over Randy Jones. I said resigning him was stupid because he's not an NHL dman. He said he obviously is an NHL dman and a decent 3rd pairing dman.

I'll let history speak for itself.

I am with you, unless he has a career ending off ice injury soon and can retire.

I like the other idea of buying out Upshall too unless they think he is serviceable on the 2nd-4th line

It's a shame the Flyers waited so long to draft dmen. By the time our prospects hit their primes, Giroux and the Core will be in their 30's or near their 30's.
