There seems to be a general concensus that Barbashev has more top end skill than Lemieux.

Koziol put him in his place though.

Coller said last year was his ceiling, and Koziol quickly said "fine then I want him on my team"

Lemieux will be our Brendan Gallagher/Marchand 20 goal 2nd-3rd liner. (If he pans out)

We have a hands on GM that gets out there and sees these kids first hand along with a great staff . I am going to trust his decisions till he proves that he should not be trusted.

I'll have to defer to TM on this one. IMO, his choice at #2 earned him the benefit of the doubt.

But I would have been curious to see if Barbashev could have gelled with Grig-0.

Brad Marchand gushes over Ted Nolan in interviews. Nolan was Marchand's coach in juniors.


If Marchand, Girgensons, Foligno, & Lemieux were all be 20g agitators for us..? Plus our up & comming size on defense? Sabres would be a tough out.
