He obviously can foretell the future.

Really? He was terrible last season, cost his team and playoffs, and whined about "Only" starting almost half the games,.

I highly doubt Brodeur would think he'd be anything more than a back up. Hence the point about him being a back up

Picking up Brodeur would be an investment into Bernier's development more than anything...

He is surrounded by big tough hard nosed canandian boys and he is starting to play like them. Maybe he would have on his own, maybe he wouldn't... Not saying europeans suck, but to win cups, you need some high end canadian content I'd say...

Do good players come from othet countries too. yes, of course they do. But most often then not. majority of players are Canadian.

The cost is too high, I can't understand why the Leafs are entertaining these ideas. The guy has been injured often (culminating with a huge injury last season), how can he (his agent) justify those figures?

the leafs are never bad enough to get the top 3 pick in a draft after the top 4 this draft was a crapshoot. they went with the guy they had highest on their board who happens to be swedish.

I don't mind the Nylander pick up, it's the overall picking. The idea that at all these instances there wasn't a canadian kid is poop...

no true, lots of players with no trade options get traded (Kesler)
