Gotta dump a few contracts for futures, minor leaguers and ELC's then.
- Jeropotato

So that's one phaneuf and would you like a side of Franson as well?

Obviously MacT makes the call. I doubt that CE signs here with all the interest he will gather, but 3 years 6M should make him at least listen.

That would complete the D moves for the most part...maybe add a 6/7 guy for more depth.

Sign Petry and Schultz to 4M bridge contracts.

Still ~ 5M under cap.

Erhoff, Petry, Nik, Schultz, Ference, Marincin...finally a full NHL D corp

That be a good start for sure. I'm pretty sure it was the length of the contract was why the bought him out not necessarily his play. Pegula is 2/2 on big contracts to buyout ratio.

Either the AHL or back to Sweden. HE has been playing against grown men for last couple years so even if he does make the Leafs I don't think the size will be the issue it will be more adapting to North American game and the speed.

Almost got caught drinking
- Oilers4Life14

Didn't you say that you were never going to drink or do drugs, with in the last 6 months or so? You were so adamant that you were never going to do it and now you almost get caught drinking. Just because you don't get caught doesn't mean you aren't doing it.

Well since you can't take any salary back, how about Gernat, and Horak?

Keep your (frank)ing Franson.

Preferable...but not a must. Oddly enough, if we got another Center for tough minutes we would need him less, but he would fit better.

Yeah, I did a look at Cap Geek. Using an advanced mathematical and hypothetical formula, the teams most likely to find success in free agency are:
1.Anaheim
2.Dallas
3.Colorado
4.Columbus
5.Nashville
6.Islanders
7.Phoenix
8.San Jose
9.Vancouver
10.Calgary........
