Jovo is awful

(frank) the oilers play in arguably the biggest and toughest division in the league. The flames and Canucks just got lil tougher as well. I hope the oilers do something this offseason just to play a more physical game as well.

I dunno whos a ufa that could help? Maybe Boyle, Ott, or Downie.... even Tanner Glass.

I also hope they move Gagner for someone that could help on the blue line. But I don't want them to rush Draisaitl and put him in a sheltered role on the 3rd line

Calgary is doing the rebuild the right way, all character and grit. ensures a hard working team with poor results. which means high picks, this young talent then learns the hard style of play from the grinders and you end up with a skillfull team with lots of jam

With so many of the best teams close to the cap, or damn near on it after the RFA's are signed.....I dunno...is there reason to be optimistic about free agency?

Toronto has 11 spots to fill with 20.4 Million to do it. They won't be pitching a tent this summer.

So what are you doing Canada Day, aside from getting pissed up and lamenting the hopes and dreams of the Oilers season signing elsewhere for way less?

i don't know. When you do nothing but lose for 8 years, and you're a cold canadian city, it's hard to persuade anybody to go there over places like San Jose, Colorado, Dallas, Anaheim, Detroit, etc. that have room and have had recent success.

I do wonder though, and this is mostly hope talking here, if UFA's get left a bit out in the cold this summer. Seems like a lot of decent depth players available and no/few contenders to sign with. The teams you mentioned will cash in for sure, but FFS there has to be somebody willing to come here aside from the bums you mentioned.

Didn't you say that you were never going to drink or do drugs, with in the last 6 months or so? You were so adamant that you were never going to do it and now you almost get caught drinking. Just because you don't get caught doesn't mean you aren't doing it.
