Regularly one of Tampa's best PP producers over the last few years. Thats... good? But it could also be pretty volatile and go on a guy with reduced PP role or formations.

Not a bad move. Purcell always seems to be just about to break through but never quite gets there. Maybe the change of scenery will help him.

I think most educated flames fans would tell you that Monahan could've used another year in junior. Draisaitl should. Won't hurt him to work on his speed and 2way game in an environment where he's dominant over getting thrown to the wolves in EDM and fighting to be adequate

Nah man, its not like Monahan got slaughtered at 5 on 5 last year and once his S% dropped off to regular levels all his points pretty well disappeared.

No one at all saw that coming after 9 games with like a 36%CF despite softest zone starts and a 16% shooting percentage.
