I think it's pretty unlikely we go after Marchand tbh. If Boston is tired of his antics, you'd have to think Benning would feel the same way. Also wouldn't be the best way to increase season ticket sales . - eternalcashflow
I'd be okay with taking a run at Loui Eriksson. Boston is in cap hell right now, and Loui and the Sedins have played well together internationally in the past. |

Well, at least Benning made some moves to stock the system, unlike Toronto which has zero organizational depth. You did get Polak though so I suppose he is a Norris trophy favourite now. - Beachcomber
And without the Gillis style of arrogance. Benning seems like a straight shooting guy who has no issues with rival GM's |

Ehrhoff being bought out. Doesn't really fit the youth movement but do you think he would come back here? |

You gotta think, if asked, the Sedins would be all for it. |

I wonder what it would take to pry a Lucic away from Boston; Kreijci's on the last year of his contract too. Based on where the caps at, and the number of RFA's, they have some shuffling to do. |

He has a no movement clause, doesn't have to go through waivers.
The real question is, what the (frank) is BUF doing? It's obvious that they are going to tank for McDavid but they are gonna have to spend just over $20 to get the cap floor.
EDIT:
They could give Bolland and Miller their asking prices I suppose, there's $12m right there; trade for Vinny from PHI, another $5m, and then sign B. Richards for $4m.
McDavid secured |

I am guessing they are going to be big players in the trade and UFA market in the next few days.
Fla and Buff are teams to watch as Pens Flyers Leafs Canucks Hawks are spiralling down.
That team is making huge moves over the last year and next |

If Ehrhoff does allow waivers ,recapture is still in play
http://capgeek.com/recapture-grid - VANTEL
Let's be honest. What GM is their right mind (Garth Snow is immediately disqualified) would pick up that contract up on waivers? The whole reason he is getting bought out is because of the recapture penalty. They tried to trade him, but that penalty is a HUGE issue. |

I was reading on twitter they agreed to buy him out if he would not waive only.
With his buyout I bet some team steps up and offers him 5 plus for 5 years |

Vey has some serious potential.......... 116 points in less than 70 games a few years ago. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he outshines Bonino. I would be stoked for him to see him break through. Good luck Vey! |

It is good to know we have at least two potential 2nd line centres and Horvat in the mix going forward |

I don't think so he had some magic with Vancouver beyond that he hasn't shown anywhere else really. He got a massive contract that he could only get in buffalo. His value is way down. |
