Jim Benning is the liquidator! - hillbillydeluxe
Nucker posted about that lady who said the Nucks asked 3 people to waive. Do we have any idea who it is? Garrision, Kes and?
Need Willie D to go full Pete Carrol on this team. Tell him who ya want/need and Trader Jim will get to work. |

Jarome Iginla/Jamie Benn - LeftCoaster
As a lifelong Nucks fan you hope for the best and then expect the sky to fall on us. It would be so nice if our top pick worked out and actually wanted to stay here... It's been a while. |

The key here is proper development, Virtanen is one of the youngest kids in the draft, he needs time to grow and develop. Side note, did you see his dad? He's taller than Jake which means at only 17 he could still reach 6'2" or 6'3".
Anyways, I'm hoping he has a good season in the WHL, best junior league in the world , and then comes to camp next year ready to compete for a job. |

Jim Benning is the anti-Mike Gillis - LeftCoaster
One spoke big and did nothing, the other doesn't really want to talk, just trade.
I think it sounds like they want to make some deals if they can capitalize on a team being over the cap and needing to dump some salary.... as long as they don't get stuck with something long term that schtanks.
Not against picking up a ufa on a short term contract. Just don't want to get handcuffed by a long term contract.
Just wondering how many more transactions we will see and what the lineup will look like in the fall. It is good to see us get some promising prospects. |

I think we're down to 8 now, have to check, but there's still time for Jim to get rid of a few of those!! |

I don't mind modified NTC or better yet the if we miss the playoffs your NTC is opened up for the following summer. I'd personally like them to never give a full NTC on a deal longer than one or two years. |
