Completely know what you mean, kinda link Shinkaruk did last camp. I'd imagine Virtanen will put in a few shifts in pre-season that will turn some heads.

Pretty sure I read both Shink and Horvat were AHL eligible this coming season.

Benning's made a few trades but I don't think we've seen anything "masterful" just yet. The summer is young though...

Anybody think that Hansen gets moved before his NTC kicks in? With Vey and Dorsett I have to think he becomes expendable and to get the 2.5MM off the books would be nice.

From all indications, it seems Virtanen won't be ready until at least end of October. But frankly, I would want to ensure that he is absolutely 100% before even thinking about including him on the roster or allowing him to participate in any sort of intense contact drills

Ahh, my bad, I just noticed Chompsey's comments.

It's always a concern that a team may rush a prospect instead of ensuring they are 100% ready physically but also mentally. I hope that Linden et al see the big picture (which I'm confident they will) in terms of dealing with prospects.

I would have no problem if Horvat gets another year in Jr. as well as Shinkaruk (isn't he also still rehabing?) and that they take all the time they need before they need as concerns Virtanent

That is different though. I don't mind that . I just don't want to bring in Bolland and ship out Burr. if you are going for an agitation line Burr is one of the best when he plays that part.
