Myers is a great #3 good #2. He is also the right age for the rebuild, he isn't going anywhere IMO

Of those 4 IMO Risto is the only one with top line potential...so i'd play him alongside myers..

Zadarov - very good 2nd liner/fill-in on 1st line
Pysyk - same
McCabe - solid 2nd liner/3rd line if there is a glut

it SHOULD (key word there) look like this in 3 years:

Myers, Risto
Zads, Pysyk
McCabe, Austin (he intrigues me for some reason)

Naming 4 guys who are potential top 4 does not exclude Myers in the least bit.

Come free agency I expect the sabres to sign 3rd and 4th liners with the exception of a moulson. On the back end you will see 5th or 6th d men that are over the age of 30 i.e tallinder

Disagree. Murray has said it himself he isn't looking for bums who cant score.. Sure we wont get the Stastny's of free agency but we will get guys who can play and don't look like John Scott out there. We have a lot of cap room and Murray doesn't want to be a punching bag again.. He knows we will be bad but still wants to be hard to play against. Personally I look for us to sign 1-2 defenseman 2-3 forwards via FA or trade and finish somewhere from 2nd worst to 4th worst while gaining some respect back from last year.
