Well I like mostly everyone that comment on Carols blog. I'm not a fan for eklund to be honest. But who here really is? |

I always forget people use the internet without Adblock. I'm not sure how they can do it, why they do it and how they don't go insane... - Salient
Well, most browsers come with a pop-up blocker as do the main anti-virus/firewall programs, so for the most part it's reasonable. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Eklund's adds are from the pit of evil and have supernatural powers that refuse to pop-the-f*ck-down. |

seems kind of strange but people get comfortable in their ways. It is amazing what a human will tolerate before he/she opts for change.
As for canucks, I agree with most on here that Miller can F himself. However; if they are really planning to make the playoffs they most certainly won't role with Markstrom Lack tandem. - anavar
I'm with (free) Vantel on this. If they are going to sign a vet starter than trade Lack. Rollie will develop another guy to take over from Miller... It would make sense if they trade Lack. If not it doesn't make sense. |

yeah, they would have to trade Lack if they bring in miller. Would lose Markstram otherwise for nothing. I really couldnt care either way, just not a fan of miller. I think he will want to get paid and he is a bit of a head case. I am fine with a lack markstrom tandem and fine if they were to sign hiller to a reasonable 2 year or something. |

It would be weird to bring in Miller after all the talk of going after character guys. Miller seems like a huge a-hole. |

I'm not supporting the idea of miller to Vancouver unless it's a cap friendly contract with a short term and no ntc. Anything over four years 4.5 mill a year would be a mistake. I can see another team offering over six per year despite his poor showing in the playoffs. |

yeah, exactly. He is not really a "team" guy. Was pretty unspectacular in STL as well. I feel like he would want 5-6 mill and some term. F that. |

My prediction is we all love what happened at the draft and we may not be so happy after we see the Free Agency signings... |

We need some top 6 wingers as well, things could get ugly. |

Agreed. I'd rather get an experienced vet as a backup for Lack. Save the cap space and the poopty attitude. |

We need to add offence and grit more than anything. Miller is not much of an upgrade over lack. Absolutely not worth pursuing. The price will be too high. I hate to say it I'd rather pursue iginla. Played with him years ago. Great guy. Yes he's old but who cares. The guy is a winner. I want to see this team win. As much as I want Connor mcdavid I'd like to see this team in the playoffs. Also a two year term would be all that's needed. Though would he want to play here? I think he goes to a contender. Perhaps Anaheim? |

@mike_shoro: Sam Gagner is the subject of trade rumors for several years and is never traded. Then he's traded to two teams in a day. Sports, I tell ya. |

I have always cheered on the Sedins. Right from when they where drafted. I think despite last year they are still elite players. For this team to make it back to the playoffs they need to find there games. I'm optimistic desjardins will get them going. That being said there the wrong players to spend 7 mill a year on if we ever want to win a cup. They were absolutely useless against Boston in the finals. Even Nashville that year. Good thing Kesler was a beast in that series. I would personally try to move them if the team wants to go through a rebuild. If not no rebuild? |

It feels like the draft was trending towards 3year retool but Benning and Linden keep saying we want the playoffs next year and we have a ton of cap space.... I'm really just scared they are going to do something desperate in an attempt to make the playoffs instead of building with youth... |

There very good players still. Not worth 7 a year a piece. Not the right players to lead us to a cup. Maybe I'm wrong. |

They could be trying to do both at the same time to fill the gaps we have from previous years. Having few too many 22-26 year olds moving up our lineup from our poop drafting has left some holes. Hopefully they are going to use the cap space to get a Krug and not overpay for a vanek/miller. |

Why can't they make the playoffs and build with youth? Is this wishful thinking? |
