Carol have you heard of any rumours floating around outside of twitter and HB?
If you are not in favour of signing Iggy which other top free agent forward are you looking at.
I like waiting for Krug from Boston he would be a nice option - vancouverdawg
Except Krug is a D |

They could be trying to do both at the same time to fill the gaps we have from previous years. Having few too many 22-26 year olds moving up our lineup from our poop drafting has left some holes. Hopefully they are going to use the cap space to get a Krug and not overpay for a vanek/miller. - anavar
I would love to see an offer sheet to any of three rfas boston has. Preference leans towards Krug as well. |

It would be weird to bring in Miller after all the talk of going after character guys. Miller seems like a huge a-hole. - hankthetank
Now that I think about it he's not here to sign a deal, he just wanted to get his wife out of California with Kesler being there. |

He did play for Buffalo most of the year... Not exactly a defensive powerhouse

Don't believe me if you don't want to. But that is 100% for sure.

.923 with Buffalo is actually pretty good
Don't know what the hell happened in St. Louis though. Still, he's a career .915 goaltender. It's not like he's terrible. If anything, his poor showing in STL could mean he could be had at a discount. |

@taj1944: This RT @arby_18: So Yzerman has clearly “wooed” somebody during the courting period.
Speculation is that they have courted Iggy and D.Boyle. TB is making some bold moves right now, they could be scary next season. |

and they ate salary. Seems like they were trying to get salary off their books. Clearing cap space for something. |

Gagner flipped to Arizona for nothing after. TB just wanted to clear space and it seems like no one really wanted Gagner or Purcell that much.
Purcell goes from a better team living in Tampa to a bottom feeder in Edmonton..ouch. I bet he wishes he threw some more hits now. |

I haven't followed the Sabres enough over the last few years to comment on his attitude. I know that he can stop pucks though |
