Looks like it's going to happen. Hope the cap hit and term are decent.

They could be trying to do both at the same time to fill the gaps we have from previous years. Having few too many 22-26 year olds moving up our lineup from our poop drafting has left some holes. Hopefully they are going to use the cap space to get a Krug and not overpay for a vanek/miller.

I would love to see an offer sheet to any of three rfas boston has. Preference leans towards Krug as well.

Don't know what the hell happened in St. Louis though. Still, he's a career .915 goaltender. It's not like he's terrible. If anything, his poor showing in STL could mean he could be had at a discount.

I haven't followed the Sabres enough over the last few years to comment on his attitude. I know that he can stop pucks though
