I still can't believe Dupuis has lasted thing long in Pittsburgh, even over James Neal. Heck, I can't believe Kunitz survived over Neal, regardless of whom he plays with. James Neal in my mind is simply better then both guys.

Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds, Luke Schenn, Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier, Matt Read, Jake Voracek and Steve Mason. These in my mind are our young core and I wouldn't part with any of them. Not unless we're getting a serious upgrade in return. From the looks of things, Scott Laughton might soon be added to this list.

My point is, the only thing I truly want is to add more players between the ages of 22 and 26. Players that might be family with our current group who might fit in. Players that might need a change of scenery or a work in progress. I also thought that this might be asking a lot but with names like Jamie McBain out there and Michael Del Zotto, maybe it isn't.

I might not like the long route Ron Hextal has chosen to take but I can't argue that a Cup couldn't possibly be out of reach. We still need a pure shooter to play with Giroux and a legit number 1 defenseman though.
