If the Canucks do end up signing Miller it seems that they'll have to move one of Lack or Markstrom out. Who do you guys think it would be?

I could see/hope for a Markstrom for Brett Connolly deal... seems to work for both teams.

Perhaps even both. I just don't see the reason behind picking up Miller unless they are planning a few signings tomorrow. My concern is that they don't address the lack of depth which has plagued the team for years. We can't count on too many of the prospects to be able to make the jump at this point.

I don't think Tampa does that deal. I think they've seen enough of Markstrom over the last few years to make an assessment. Mind you, they did sign Lindback, so who knows.

As for Connolly I think he could use a fresh start somewhere

If we go into next year with just Lack and Markstrom and Lack goes down Canucks games are going to be unwatchable! Markstrom is horrible!!!

To those saying a Markstrom can not be put on waivers? There use to be a
Rule that 12 days before the start of the season till one day after your first regular game a player could be put on waivers and untouched. Did that change in the new CBA?

Actually, I think he did end up going to the WC, although apparently Canucks didn't want him to go initially and to instead focus on his training/development here.

It seems the Canucks aren't that concerned about the hip issue, especially given they drafted another goalie who is having surgery on BOTH hips (yikes)

It is not Miller koolade . I think we made a lot of good moves this week to stock cupboards. Now the idea is to put the best roster forwards.

If there were Johansens and Etems on the UFA list I wouldn't even think of such athing but BPA are Moulsen Vanek Stasny . I am impressed with none of them.Iggy still has game and is a two year deal , I say sure.

I look at the Miller situation the same as Luongo except Miller wants to be here .It gives you stable goaltending and we are not up against the cap.If we were I would want no part of it.
