Come on man....don't do this. - Nucker101
I thought we had a moratorium on the Sedins but it seems it's short-lived |

That is why I never liked having both. If I could I would kick Burke righ in his big hairy beanbag - VANTEL
Most guys see it as you always bagging on the twins. Personally, I think you've come a long way with only bagging on Daniel now. |
|
|

Having twins always sounds so great. Like commercial says double the pleasure double the fun. Here are facts they don't tell you. Double the expenses , double the problems , double everything.
And your chances of getting lucky with twins if really very unlikely unless you are going to pay for them. I came as close to it as one can in West Palm beach but turns out they were shy . |

Why do you have to move two? Hank has been solid - VANTEL
Let's just agree on one thing they're not getting moved any time soon.

Definitely not this season. And if they do, both will go together so let's stop living in fantasy land. I'd go to CDC if I wanted to do that. |

Ok, I'm going to have to start pasting stats again
Where do you get your basis for your analysis?
Facts:
Daniel Sedin
2011-2012 72 30 37 67 229 (shots on goal)
2012-2013 47 12 28 40 138 (shots on goal)
2012-2013 73 16 31 47 224 (shots on goal) (injuries) (anomaly year) - Zogg
So we are back to the warmth of 2011 again. So that is like a decade ago |

Or play NHL 14 where I traded Kesler for Johansen and Jenner. A pick, the twins for Seguin and Benn. Now that's what I call #theprocess |

Mostly because they get grouped as one item |

I think that's probably the most important point of note (whether you love or hate the Sedins) is that they will NOT be playing for any other team, would never agree to be traded separately and will end up going back to play in Sweden when all is said and done. |

I can't say that for sure. DCT said the other day with all the changes they may want to opt out of their contract.
I think if we have a similar year as last year changes will be made around the 25 game mark and management won't care if feeling are hurt if they are playing to empty buildings |

I didn't realize we missed a year in 2012... (shortened season, as you recall)
2012-2013 47 12 28 40 138 (shots on goal)
As for last year - please see above comments on the clusterf*ck that was 2013 or recall the endless previous discussion points we've had on this matter.
Ok, back to the moratorium? |

So if they find a way out of their contracts and we get nothing in return how does it benefit the team ? Like it or not, they're our best players.
If you're worried about them producing less, I'd say it's because the players around them keep getting pooptier. Some offensive help where other teams can't zone in on them exclusively would be nice. They won't return to 100 pt players, but 80-85 would be pretty damn good. |

With this coach and a legit PMD sedins will be 85 plus point players again forsure |

I watched last year every game every minute. I seen crap and I predicted it would be like that before the season started.Torts was an idiot ,but the team also stunk.
If Daniel can put in 30 this year and his fellow winger puts in 25 + ! I won't say another word.
Injuries happen to all teams . We didn't have a second third or fourth line so blame goes elsewhere too.
We got rid of two cancers Torts and Kes , brought in a new third coach and management along with new roster players. No more excuses .Sh!t or get off the pot. |

I'm predicting 65 point seasons, I'd be thrilled with anything more. That would have had them tied for 30th this year, still 1st line production, although no longer top tier. |

Well, we're both on opposite sides of the Sedin spectrum (and I have a tiny feeling that this is not going to change but yes, let's see which of our prognostications becomes correct.
And once my prediction comes true , I will be sending an unending stream of (very mature, I know ) |

Not this again....
Look man, if we had the kids knocking on the door to replace the twins id be with you, but we currently have no prospects and or UFA options at this point. Christ, we might not even have any kids with firstline potential in the pipeline!
WTF is the rush? They literally represent the only two top six forwards we have left.
God forbid any player on the team has a rough go next season or else we are going to have to hear about it for another year! |

You guys will have this same back and fourth at least 5 different times more this summer. Book it! |

If and it is a huge if Edler gets a steady partner that he has chemistry with I think he can be that guy to get the twins the puck but we will see. Also Bonino is going to help the pp and second line. Kesler had to be the most overrated one hit wonder I have ever seen |
