All things I am excited for as well and it's not about being only positive all the time but there seems to be so much crap regarding tomorrow. It's like Christmas morning for me and this year I might actually get something. Gillis always gave me coal.

The truth is, Kes loved Vancouver and never wanted to be traded. Aside from his questionable taste in women he was well liked by his team mates. His teasing of the Nordics about their minimal endowment was taken as all in good fun. The end came when he over indulged at a team party and called the captain a Swedish meat ball. That was too much for the twins. They gave Trevor an ultimatum that if he didn't trade K's ass by draft day they would tear up their NTCs and return to Sweden.

Honestly. Not greatest roster in the history of hockey. But Benning and Linden have managed to turn this team over very nicely in an insanely short amount of time.

Oilers please take notice.

And yes, Im well aware tht the puck has not yet dropped this season. But Im very confident this team will be competetive and going for the 7th-8th spot.

A lot of my co-workers are all thinking the Nucks will be worse than last year and hope they tank badly. I just don't see us being worse than 5 other teams at least. I could see us in the bottom 7-10 at worst and shockingly making the playoffs by a thread on the best side of things.

EDIT: And this is based on our current roster. If we win big in FA, we could be a surprise dark horse with a new coaching staff. Willie has won every where he has gone. Every team that seems to make the playoffs in the west has a chance.

This team if it makes the playoffs will be dangerous and have just add good a chance as others to go on a run provided or goalchie is right there at the top of his game.

I challenge all of you to say one positive thing about the current roster and plans moving forward WITHOUT a negative addition. If not, why not just stop watching the Canucks?

Having an objective opinion is recognizing both the good and bad. Overall, the tone on the Canuck threads in the past couple of days is substantially better than the past couple of years. That's a huge victory if you ask me.
