If Benning doesn't go off on ufa goalies, there is money for a ufa like Moulson or might be able to capitalize on a cap dump from another team...

If we get similar production out of Bonino to the numbers Kesler put up, then we are still lacking that 2nd line finisher that we have lacked since Samuelsson left...

If we can get a proven 20+ goal scorer for the 2nd line, we will be at least a wild card team again next year. If Benning is done on the trade front, we may be in the hunt for CMD.

I'd rather see an UFA like Moulson signed for 3 years than Miller for the same....

But if Moulson wants more term then it is a moot point.

I'm still hoping that Benning takes a run at Winnik.

Winnik-Richardson-Dorsett would be a HUGE improvement for our 4th Line.

That is a great point! I would way rather Ward over Miller, I think it would be better for Lack`s development.

To say you'd rather have Hiller over Miller... I think that's pretty bold. Miller has been an amazing goalie over his career. Yes, he's had a few bumps here and there, but he stood on his head for Buffalo. For some reason he didn't do well with the depth of the Blues defense. However, I do think Hiller is a better fit, considering Eddie Lack did so well last year, UNTIL he took over the starting role. As Luongo's back up he had solid statistics, but then once Luo was dealt, he started too many games in a row and it definitely showed. I think having Hiller would be a better choice for salary cap reasons and it would give Lack a few more games to regain his confidence. I'm very excited with either of Hiller or Miller and I am liking the steps that Linden and Benning are taking to retool Gillis' chaos.
