Kassian made some big steps last year. He's the one player on this team im psyched to watch this year. I truly think this good be a massive transition year for him and we can truly see what we got out of the trade.

I agree, based on how he ended last season, it's hard not to be excited about what he can bring, and just how much he will improve this upcoming campaign. Looking forward to it!

The problem I have is that as much as I would love a full rebuild, the ownership and majority of "fans" would not accept it. And with the core we have now, it is tough to at least not be looking at a playoff possibility.

We have the cap space, and if we can bring in 2 of Iginla, Cammy, Stastny, Boyle, Ehrhoff and Ribiero. We at least have a chance at making some noise this year. Barring any serious injuries.

Truth is Mr. Vantel, I used to read a lot of different blogs and this seems to be the only one I can stomach now. I do appreciate the atmosphere here, which is why I finally decided to chime in and start posting on here.

Neither am I. He rode on the coattails of Tavares and then did virtually nothing once traded. Perhaps I'm being too harsh on him, as it takes a while to get used to a new system and style of play/linemates but I've never been high on him in the first place and wouldn't want the Canucks to pursue him...UNLESS.... the price was very very reasonable (which I doubt will be the case)

Same here, did not impress me when I watched him and his possession numbers aren't worthy of what he'll get. Tomorrow is going to be interesting as usual. I think TB and FLA will throw some money around, they also get an advantage due to the tax situation.
