There is quite a few players that would fit Benning's idea on the UFA list. Posturing after the best free agent goalie available is not a bad idea. Like it or not he is the best out there. Shows he(Benning) wants to improve the team. I am sure he wants to remain competitive during this rebuild. I sure as f@ck don't want to be Edmonton.

Edit: the reason I say he is a boss is look at how well he has done with what his owner gives him to work with. If he had the flexibility of spending they would be in a really good spot.
