There is quite a few players that would fit Benning's idea on the UFA list. Posturing after the best free agent goalie available is not a bad idea. Like it or not he is the best out there. Shows he(Benning) wants to improve the team. I am sure he wants to remain competitive during this rebuild. I sure as f@ck don't want to be Edmonton.

Not surprising. It's the only organization he's ever played for, harder for those guys to waive than it was for Garrison(despite being a hometown guy).
