If a shorter guy is extremely talented, ya, I take him all day long. Schroeder was not in the Theo Fluery or Paul Kariya territory despite his draft rankings. I would have passed on him.

Edit: Pommy is listed at 6' and he scored 113 points in his draft year.

1) neither was a 1st round pick (3rd round & 5th round)
2) both played in the CHL and put up decent to good numbers

I don't see them in the same light as I see Jordan Schroeder. Take JS in a later round to see what you've got, not 22nd overall.
