The way I see it, they'll save their cap space to help give the teams right up against the cap some relief. Maybe get a good player out of it too.

That's why many of us were advocating for a reliable vet backup to start 25-30 games, not a starter to play 50+.

If the Canucks can sign Mitchell, Moulson and Iginla... This will be a great off season.
