Yeah, I think CBJ trades him or lets him walk when he signs an offersheet.
- Nucker101

We should throw out an offer sheet.

A three year deal will lead us out of the dark ages of these next two years with a level of respectability, it will bring us forward quicker and help establish Lack rather than "Reimer" him with too much responsibility too soon. I love this Miller signing. 6 mil is the going rate.

If we can get Moulson then I think our day is complete.

Since Benning has been here he has:

Upgraded our prospects.
Our D was steady but NOT trading Tanev was a great non-move.
Our bottom 6 is pretty solid
Our top 6, well what team is not going to say that they want improvement in the goal scoring department. Sure the loss of Kes hurts but the guy pulled a "Bure" and unlike Pavel sitting and distracting for months, he got rid of Cancler right away.

We really need to see Binino and Vey in action before we can say we need another top 6, rather than 'want one.'

In all seriousness, the only needs that have really been addressed recently are the more peripheral or organizational ones. We don't know how Lack would handle being a starter, so that is only a potential problem that has been addressed. Yes, youth and depth have been addressed. But the main problem of scoring hasn't been touched on much. Our leading goal scorer was traded, which is fine since it helped us moving forward, and sure they signed an offensive minded coach but we are missing a top 6 forward. I would've thought Iginla would've been the priority over Miller if they wanted him in the first place. /Endrant

I would be pretty happy if they did and got a good deal for it. I have a feeling CBJ would match anything that was realistic deal though.

Edit: Vantel beat me too it.
