Even so, I expected 7mil at least. Miller wanted to come here yet he had no qualms about bending us over
Edit: DP - bezz44
Not sure if Miller "wanted" to come here more than VAN were offering the best deal. It was a poorly kept secret that Vanek would see out his final year and head to free-agency to sign with MIN. Different situations. |

Well he wanted to be on the West Coast, we know that much. And 6mil over 3 years in a soft goalie market is not good |

I have been big on Jensen for a while I think he can play with the Twins. Shink can make the team but we will see. |

You really think? I think Johansen here is a pipedream but if we could swing it we'd have a new 1C as early as next season. |

I think Miller looked here, saw a complete #1 available and went with that. The money is good. He will actually be playing in a hockey market --- no offence to St Louis but it is not known for it's rabid fan market.
Besides, we have no history of being a goalie graveyard......*gulp*.

sorry I was wrong 2.9 Million AAV Deryk Engelland

I think it's a great deal for him. Look what Hiller got. Do you see UFA goalies making more than what he just got? |

If our top 6 is Sedins, Bonino, Kassian, and Jensen, then we only have one spot open....
I love Burrows but not the cap hit, does anyone think there is a market for him if we don't have to eat salary? |
