I saw a Eddie Lack, with a marginally lower save percentage at a way cheaper cap hit and upside to improve.

Goalies can easily be acquired, look at what Bishop and Bernier were acquired for.

I didn't receive the email where Bishop or Bernier were available this year

our goal is the make the playoffs every year, sounds like a calgary last year type team. I am ok with that.

Cagary let Cammy walk and replaced him with Raymond. Signed Engelland to big money. They're tanking hard, smart move for the 2015 draft.

Thought he made the most out of a bad situation on the Kesler trade especially after picking up a centre that had fallen a bit...

Was happy with Lack and just wanted a vet back up... If we can get a 1st round pick or solid prospect for Lack, then trade him

- hillbillydeluxe

Lack isnt going anywhere. Markstrom will be gone if a goalie is moved. If Lack gets moved I will make a #BringGillisBack hashtag go viral.

Goalies don't have that kind of value.
- Nucker101

franked up market when they are not worth it in a trade but then go sign an over the hill douche to 3 years 18 million.... when you already have a guy that can play and only paying him just over a mil?

Hey, I was on board with the moves until this one. I was on the other end of the freaking out on draft day.
- Nucker101

What's the downside to this? Canucks are 3-5 years away from being relevant again, Miller is a stop gap until then. Lack and Markstrom werebt going to take this team anywhere.

yeah, I dont see us going balls out either. Miller didn't exactly help buffalo. We will compete hard and give it our all but ... pieces aren't there to compete.

I've been told that it was a necessary move.

for sure it'll be a tough game, Belgium is one of the better European sides. I want the Americans to show the world we can play football on this continent... (not just Mexico, who don't get any respect since they've never gotten past the round of 16)...

18. 7 for our first line. Is that not spending money on scoring? 6 mil average

And get locked in with a longer contract on a guy who's getting overpaid? No thanks. Develop from within using draft picks, not overpaying on July 1st.

I'd rather overpay for something the team needs more.

Just so everyone is on the same page?

I don't know what the big deal is with Miller and selling tickets, can't see it.

Thinking if you polled present and prospective ticket buyers, they would want the scoring and see Lack as #1.

Miller has something on Benning, book it.

In 3-5 yrs we wont have Miller, Lack, or Markstrom. When this team is ready to compete again we'll have Cloutier 2.0
