Don't know the full story on this though. Like someone mentioned here earlier, it wouldn't surprise me if Ehrhoff was considering pulling a Kovalchuk on us. I'm not of the mind they did this because they were afraid but more so because he just didn't see the value in the risk vs reward. We are not in a position for a run the next 2-3 years... these 2 deals would be strictly to mentor and add Veteran leadership. Nobody expects them and any others to take us to the cup. Take us down the right road, for sure... to the Cup no way.

Why does everyone hate us ? Ex players and retired NHL'ers love it here . Heck even Scotty Bowman lives here . Players looking to extend their career a couple more years would be what we need.
