This is like the 1971 Sabres...an expansion team who has jettisoned the waste and acquired some good parts to set the team in the right direction...another draft and some timely trades...2015 - 2016 team could be fun to watch grow up together.

Better than Conacher, McBain, Scott and the other slugs we watched. Gives you some new blood to hate! More fun in 2014-15 than 2013 - 14waa..you have to admit.

They will still suck...but with character....go ahead..you can quote me on that..sounds crazy but ... Those 3 and more were freakin useless..unless you like some comic relief.

Mezsaros is the only really signing I really like, a lot of money for a vet who isnt great, and only a 1 year term.

I think we'll score more goals. We'll lose the important games, but too many NHL games are close and with Moulson and Gionta we may win more of those than I would like.

We're not good in goal or on D so I can only hope that they help us lose most of the games.
