Do you actually think this team is going to be all that much better? Because I don't. The blueline still has some big question marks and who knows what's going to happen in net.

If they are better, it's probably only marginally. But, they should at least be more fun to watch.

Mezsaros is the only really signing I really like, a lot of money for a vet who isnt great, and only a 1 year term.

I think we'll score more goals. We'll lose the important games, but too many NHL games are close and with Moulson and Gionta we may win more of those than I would like.

We're not good in goal or on D so I can only hope that they help us lose most of the games.

We're still going to be bad. But what makes me the most nervous, is that Toronto and Ottawa look like they're not going to be very good, and the Isles probably won't be all that great too.

But we have no control over what players want to sign with those teams and so on. We can only control what happens here. I don't think that anything that was done today is that big that in and of itself it will screw us over.

The good news is that if the Isles are bad, we have that as a chance for one of the big 2 guys next year. Plus we have leverage to move around if need be by trading picks to move up, since we have 3 1st and should still have a fairly high pick to begin with.

To me, the 2nd and 3rd line are interchangeable for minutes, one is more of a grinding line, one more of a scoring touch.

Not really... I actually watch every Isles game... so I might know a little more about the team than you.

A lot of guys stepping up from rookie seasons.

Strome, de Haan, Nelson, Lee... along with a healthy Tavares, Cutterbuck and Visnovsky they will be fine.

Plus a couple decent goalies... one big thing that goes unnoticed is Nabby went down and the back ups couldn't get the job done.

I guess we will find out ... no sense in arguing with you!!!
