Last game I went to was Sabres vs. Yotes in PHX. He was hitting on the ice girls during the commercial break. Can't understand why he didn't do well here.

I think you're reaching here. We had 157 last year even with Vanek and Moulson here part time, I can't really picture where the extra 40-60 goals will come from. Factor in Ehrhoff's departure and accounting for injuries, it'll probably around the same mark or maybe slightly higher

So on Patrick Kane....Anyone else think he's definitely coming here next year? I do. He knew the Hawks wouldn't pay 12 a yr so it made him look like he was ready to resign there and wouldn't be labeled the bad guy. I've heard from lots of people that know him that he's coming home.

Regarding Pat Kaleta:

When Kaleta was sent down to the AHL, he was "done with the Sabres all together"

A gentleman's agreement was made between Darcy and the rest of the NHL not to pluck him from waivers in order to "teach him a lesson."

Kaleta generally despised Regeir and how he was running the franchise, even before he was sent down.

Kaleta, as well as other players, had little respect for Rolston

Once Lafontaine came in, he personally went to Kaleta's house and had a long discussion with him about his present and future. Basically told him that he should ride out the rest of the season in the AHL and was guaranteed to come back next year.

Once Murray was hired, they both went back to Kaleta's house and expressed to him that "you're the type of player we want on the back end. You'll be back next year."

Kaleta is "thrilled to see the new direction of the team

Top 3 are a bit much. I know they're in contract years but you'd be lucky to see them both hit 20 on this team. Moulson is probably low 20's with Hodgson. And Gionta probably puts up similar or less than what Foligno does.

Back end will probably be around 23-27, and you're looking at about 190, an improvement but still a ways to go.
