IMO, they are going to spend/take on ~ $10MM more. That way they can trade whomever(Mezaros/Staff/Stewart/Hodgson) with no worry about going below the cap floor.

Low risk in that it's a one yr deal and you can get something for him at the deadline.

High reward is he plays well and you can get something that much better for him at the deadline.

Good depth signing IMO.

For sure, some folks don't get the humor but I have watched it a hundred times and still laugh out loud (LOL) at some parts.
