I'll tell you what works best for me. Just don't go onto the other boards. I have a pretty good read on what I can get away with here and what I can't. I can't say the same thing about the Refs for the other boards. If you do feel the need to go over there, limit your posts to hockey related stuff. No name calling or making fun of the city they are from/live in.

Do those things, and you should be fine.

Agreed, he's definitely top 10 talent but not quite top 3 or 4. I would trade him for a hypothetical pick any day though.

Exactly! Name calling, and ripping someones city they live in is totally different. Us living in Buffalo, we see idiots coming in here and doing that all of the time. It was hockey related talk though.. I mean.. I can't help it Garth Snow is a terrible Gm haha. But in all seriousness- let's take a moment to thank Darcy for that awesome Vanek trade last year. I'm so glad he didn't overvalue Vanek and decide to hold on to him.

You were probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time. We know what it's like to have people come on our boards and make fun of us for our lack of a competent GM. It's easier to just remove yourself from the situation than have them decide it for you. Because then you can't even post on our board.

Tough choice. I'm not convinced Tavares is a top5 player, which McDavid is projected to be, but Tavares is a bonafide #1 center

That doesn't make him a good or bad fit. It just means we are terrible on the wing. I think people that want him gone are thinking two or three years down the road. If he doesn't serve a huge purpose now or then then by all means move him if you can get a good return.

I like JT a lot.. but the uncertainty at this point of how he will come back from a torn ACL is what scares me...

if he proved this season that he was his same self and the trade were to happen at the deadline or draft.. then that is a different story..

I just mean at this moment with that uncertainty.. I wouldn't do it.
