I don't like that... they have some amazing prospects.. If Myers gets moved... there is gonna be some furniture moving in here.

Except you then become a laughing stock of an organization and the NHL is already putting in rules against tanking. You dont think they would notice and take action against the Sabres for doing this on purpose.

Basically, without reinhart, we have 2 second line centers, 4 20 goal wingers (2 going to ufa next year), not much offense coming from thr bottom 6, we just lost our best defenseman, and a hodge podge in net. They will score more than last year, probably give up more too. They should still have a front row seat for 30th.

They didn't do it with Lemieux and the Pens, they don't have the legal precendence to do it here.

I agree if they started doing some outlandish poop like not spending to the floor just to ensure the tank then yea that would be something but the team still looks like it's gunning for top 3/5 without trading a top player for just picks like the pens did. Sneaky/stealth rebuilding.
