Nope. Its been stated next year lotto wont be that different. And unless they are gonna go back and penalize the Pens, Hawks, and Oilers for YEARS of tanking, I highly doubt they do something to the Sabres for one year of tanking.

No one is laughing at you when you have McDavid and Reinhart up the middle.

And there are currently no rules against spending to the cap floor.

Basically, without reinhart, we have 2 second line centers, 4 20 goal wingers (2 going to ufa next year), not much offense coming from thr bottom 6, we just lost our best defenseman, and a hodge podge in net. They will score more than last year, probably give up more too. They should still have a front row seat for 30th.

I have no doubt this team will be significantly better but people forget how bad we really were.
