I think Calgary has a weaker line up Edmonton were about on par with but with them playing in the west... Phoenix, Florida, Carolina who knows on those teams.. Wouldn't be shocked if Toronto tanked to get McDavid and if Bettman fully supported it.

Why does that matter. We are $20MM under teh cap. We are not on even at the floor. He has nothing left to learn in juniors but to get lazy and not work hard because he is better than everyone else.

Get him in now and have him learn from Moulson, Gionta, Gorges, Girgensons and gain the experience.

He can then translate that to the 2015 rookies.

I'd like to see Reinhart make the team but then be loaned to team canada for the world juniors to have that experience and chance to win a medal. Besides we might lose some more games in that span when he isn't here so it's a win-win situation
