Why burn a year for no reason?
Droiun got sent down last year without hesitation. - sambarugh
What good does it do to have Reinhart in Juniors? |

Hopefully Reinhart is on Buffalo learning from these grizzled vets - grand-magus

You want Reinhart to learn from Gorges and Girgensons? - sambarugh
You don't? According to every MTL fan he is a great leader and mentor. Works his ass off everyday. Same with Girgensons, be a pro work your ass off.
Those 2 could have a trickle down effect to a young guy like that. |

So you don't care if it stunts his growth, as long as we "don't waste a year of his deal" |
|
|

he does ....
don't be shocked when he's not here - GERBE!!!75PTS
Murray's not a guy who bullpoops... He said Reinhart has nothing left to prove in juniors and if he works hard and shows he can play here which Murray very, very clearly expects him to do then he will be here. |

I imagine either Stafford or Stewart will be gone. I really dont know that I have a preference. Although Stafford seems more into the rebuild than Stewart. And Stewart is worth more. |

Girgensons has been in the NHL for one year and plays a completely different game to Reinhart. Maybe he can teach him where the locker rooms are. |

Not sure if this is fully correct but I think it is..
Essentially Buffalo traded Thomas Vanek for
NYI 1st in 2015, 2nd in 2014, Torrey Mitchell, Matt Moulson and Josh Georges.
Is that right?
If so WOW! |

Not happening... Murray could give two craps if he burns a year on ELC if he plays well he's staying. - bluengold12
Exactly. And when it's time to pay Reinhart, Terry will pay him. |

How good do you expect the islanders to be ? They are picking between 5-8 imo. Your telling me you can't package a pick between 5-8, 25-28(St.Louis), 31-33 (sabres 2nd rounder) plus an additional 2nd to move up to the 3rd pick ? - Pegullaville
Good luck with that. |

From what I heard, Stafford had a look on his face as if someone shot and ran over his dog when he wasnt traded last year. |

We'll be a bottom three team forsure. Islanders are a bottom ten team. We also have st.Louis first rounder and I believe 2 2nd rounders if I'm not mistaken. Draft McDavid,Eichel,Barzal with our own pick. Package the rest of the picks mentioned above to attempt to get another top 5 pick and take the top player on the board - Pegullaville
i think moving up next year is gonna be impossible. murray was offering 3 seconds (two fairly high, one in the middle) to move back into the mid-late first round this year and got no takers. next year, either you have the pick at one or two, or you dont. |

Gorges, Gionta, Moulson, McCormick. Guys who work their a$see off. And, yeah, Girgensons also works his a$s off. So, yeah, Reinhart can learn a ton from these guys.
Who cares if he "burns" a year. If he's learning how to be a pro from PROS, then it's not really "burning" a year. |

Throw in a prospect if you have to. Comphier, Baptist, Bailey.....we have plenty to spare at this point. Top end talent is what we need now. |

I don't mean to be condescending but do you not get the development process in hockey? Sam Reinhart is 18 years old FFS. |
