I don't know how the fans there think they are going to contend. I am not in the camp that thinks they are going to be a bottom 3 pick, but I also do not see them making playoff.

Yes it will. These players were brought in to teach young guys good habits. They're not good enough to earn this team the 14 points it need to get out of the basement. The forward group still is going to have a lot of problems scoring, and unless Meszaros has some sort of Epiphany, the little offense they got from the back end is basically gone too. Goaltending is also a question mark at best.

Yes it will. These players were brought in to teach young guys good habits. They're not good enough to earn this team the 14 points it need to get out of the basement. The forward group still is going to have a lot of problems scoring, and unless Meszaros has some sort of Epiphany, the little offense they got from the back end is basically gone too. Goaltending is also a question mark at best.

Tim Murray also seems adamant on not being a playoff contending team next year. That alone pretty much tells me that he's done for the off season as far as major adds go. He's at the floor, he's added character and leadership and the team overall is less of an eyesore to watch.
