100% Agree with this. Mac-Turris-Ryan is untouchable
I don't believe in the whole break up offense in order to even things out. - TheCalSen
You can't win if you only have one line that can score consistently. Turris and Mac scored just fine when Ryan went down (with stone on their line)......so why not spread it out. I think zibby and Ryan would be a really good pair, no matter who you played with them |

Production from the Turris line definitely took a hit after Ryan was injured. |

Kopitar was after the 9th pick, I know for sure because Ottawa ended up picking Lee instead of Kopitar |

He would be a great signing for the Sens. He is from the region. I stil thinkl Jason Spezza is traded to the Stars for Chiasson and Daley. Another Sens player could be involved in the deal. |

We ended up taking Skille at 7 (which apparently was a big reach). I feel your pain. |

If (when) the Sens end up moving Spezza, is there any chance that half of his salary is eaten?
If so, I believe that Chicago is your best bet for your needs. |
|
|

Here are the forwards with better GoalFor% percentages over the last three seasons:
Bergeron, Crosby, Marchand, Seguin, Kunitz, Kopitar, Stepan, Sedin, Steen, Franzen.
Pouliot is 11th.

A little one, but their minutes also got reduced when hemsky showed up and that line started clicking
I just remember Maclean talking about setting his lines based on pairs, not groups of 3. So to me, those pairs would be
Turris-Mac
Zibby-Ryan |

Spezza (salary retained), gryba
For Shaw and leddy - sensarmy_11
1. How much salary is retained?
2. I don't think that the 'Hawks will give up Shaw. I believe (could be mistaken) that the 'Nucks really wanted him (apart for Terevainen and Saad) and the 'Hawks couldn't deal him, so I don't think they deal him for Spezza, who would likely be a rental anyways.
Wasn't Gryba just re-signed anyways? I doubt he gets moved. However, I'm sure that Zack Smith or Colin Greening would be of interest to the 'Hawks
EDIT: With that being said, I counter with:
Leddy, Versteeg, a mid-level prospect, and a 2nd round pick for Spezza (salary retained) and Zack Smith. |

Yep told you guys they were targeting him about six weeks ago? They scouted him heavy in the playoffs.
Another scoop for me.
Late bloomer, great fit, best years ahead. |

Solid ranking, but certainly doesn't paint the true picture of a complete underachiever like Pouliot. |

I agree, he could be potential a nice value signing by UFA standards. |

Was trying to think of a deal that didn't involve saad or TT.......not sure what else the hawks have (that they'd move) that Murray would be interested in |

Alright, new proposal.
Greening for a toews autograph and new jockstraps for next season.....no salary retained though |

He's actually been solid the last 3 years.
Obviously not living up to his draft position, but also not the same useless player he was in minny |

What's wrong with his game?
Seems to be a very physical player with solid size ... sounds like a sound bottom-six, gritty winger (who is also very cheap).
I edited my comment with a proposal. |

If they're so high on getting Greening, I don't see why we should keep him.
Ott: Spezza(salary retained 30%), Greening, Prince, 2nd
Chicago: Leddy, Shaw, Clendening. |
