When one poster said that he thought it would be cool if we could have gotten Ehrhoff for that contract another poster basically told him that it wouldnt have been the same because he took that contract just to play for that team... Nobody knows why exactly he settled for what he settled for... All that we ALL know is that he took a good bit of a cut to play for Pitt... Hell, Pitt might have been the only team that contacted him for all we know. Who knows.

Giguere is intriguing. I think he may preform better than emery, but I also think emery is a serviceable backup who is good in the room.
