If his facts were the "full" facts I wouldn't call BS on him as much as I do.....his # s are correct but there are other hurdles that render them disingenuous.....you can't circumvent the cap. There are safeguards built in....no matter how hard he wishes to argue the point. - landros 2
Please point out how the numbers that were posted circumvent the cap? Now stuff is just being made up. You tell me how, and I'll show you how that's wrong. Complete with references to back it up. |

Well played sir, I did temporarily forget Orpik. Perhaps the Bolland trade weighs more for me because Vinny would have been a better option for them and at less. - coffee junkie
I think you need to consider that Florida needed to reach the cap floor too. When a team like the Flyers overpays, it's much worse because they usually spend up to the cap.
Florida won't get anywhere near the cap ceiling. They likely will be a cap floor team throughout Bollands entire deal. |

I guess Bolland looks bad because he is a third line center really. Seems a bit much for a guy I don't think posted over 50 points ever. |

Not sure about Vokoun since he hasn't played for a year. Did well the previous year. 99.8% sure Giguere is retiring. |

So bored, I can't get that Trivago hotel commercial song out of my head....
When you think about it, that guy in the commercial with no belt is kinda creepy also.

Is Vokoun healthy?
Nabokov, Broduer, Emery, Thomas, Giggy
But I'll admit the line is thin between them, very thin
Good news is it's a buyers market, we should get a good deal |

His max bonus is only $1.5m. It's not an Iginla-type situation. - Feanor

I call BS on that premise. If they NEED salary then why compliance buyout Jovo or sign Bolland for 5 years. 5 years with all that wonderful youth is a receipt for disaster IMHO. He has never had a 20 goal season. I know hockey is more then goals but 5.5M for a third line center coming off injury. Terrible |

You honestly think that it's reasonable that with the shortage of available quality defenseman in the League, that a quality player like Ehrhoff was only contacted by one team? - MJL
So you are saying it is inconceivable that the first team he talked to he signed with.. and didnt look elsewhere? |

Free Agency is a two way street. Teams can contact him. And lot of times it's just faxes of offers sent to an agent. I'd be willing to bet that he received a bunch of interest and offers. |
