Let's fast forward a few years and pretend the following scenario plays out.

Virtanen scores 30ish goals.

We squeak into the playoffs based on sound defensive play and lights out goaltending by a relatively young goalie with a young team loaded with quality prospects.

How tradeable would Virtanen be for us? He'd be untouchable.

I really miss those trade scenarios. Fairly certain that we worked out deals here on this forum that netted just about every player possible using only those 2 guys plus a 2nd rounder. The memories...
