The LOTR movies I liked. Every single one from start to finish.

The hobbit is a good novel, but there is way too much CGI (or whatever you big city people call it). Might as well watch a video game.

Nice.

LoTR is the typical "last channel" thing for me. If the Flyers game goes to a break, I'll flip to the LoTR movie that is perpetually on TNT or whatever and watch it for 3 minutes. During intermissions of Flyers games or whatever it is, I'll turn to it, and if they're not shooting each other in the eyeball with bow and arrows, I flip back to the Flyers or whatever I was watching.

And if yes. Did he smell it?

I agree. The Orcs/Goblins look pretty bad. The whole Goblin King scene was way too cheesy. Also, I'm all for taking liberties to make a book into a movie, but they're basically making The Hobbit a whole new movie (although the whole new Smaug scene was awesome).

The fact that it was a dude's ass only makes it funnier.

I agree. The Orcs/Goblins look pretty bad. The whole Goblin King scene was way too cheesy. Also, I'm all for taking liberties to make a book into a movie, but they're basically making The Hobbit a whole new movie (although the whole new Smaug scene was awesome).

I don't mind making it comical in some parts. However that whole Goblin King scene was really dumb as you say. Especially the chase afterward. Built to gauge the ADHD 3D crowd.

I liked the LOTR because for a lot of it the orcs looked somewhat life-like.

Its the same in the Desolation. The river barrel chase. Just a video game clip.

There's some things that have happened across the movies that I don't like. The "cool" or "wow that worked out nicely" effect: what I mean is in Two Towers when Legolas used the shield like a skateboard, or most of the barrel chase stuff, as two examples.

The barrel chase scene was just absurd. But I liked how they did the spider scene, that was very well done.
